The square contemporary shape is perfect for a small-er area, but it isn’t limited to that.I just love the look.The table itself is very sturdy but I haven’t put anything in the drawer yet to know how that is.It was easy to assemble but for convenience & ease it is better to have two people.I did contact the mfgr bec the screws seemed way too bi(fat) for the holes & I didn’t want to split the wood.He was Very helpful and had me measure the hole stating the size it was supposed to be which it was.He assured me that if we had trouble they would work w/ us in getting a new piece. The screws Did work without a problem, they were just very snug.Others complained about differentiating between the long & short screws but they are clearly marked in separate pkgs so I’m not sure what the problem was.I would definitely buy another one if I had a place for it.

I own several pieces of Winsome furniture (as well as many other brands of 'self-assembled' furniture) but this little accent table is perhaps my favorite in terms of looks and quality.I purchased this for use as a nightstand in my bedroom and it's a perfect fit in that regard.The accent table is made entirely of wood with the exception of the drawer bottom.I nearly tossed the drawer bottom away thinking it was part of the packing materials - then had a mini-panic attack thinking I was going to have to pack everything up to ship back because of a missing part.So, just as an FYI, the drawer bottom is a piece of white colored cardboard type material with a laminate coating (don't throw it out!!)Although it would seem too flimsy for use as a drawer bottom, it's quite sturdy once assembled; though I wouldn't recommend using the drawer to store anything unusually heavy.The box was easy to carry into the house and up to the second floor on my own; and I'm a light weight.Assembly was also a breeze as I was able to put this together on my own in no time flat; though help from a second person would certainly be ideal.It would be helpful to have someone hold the legs upright while securing them to the table top, as well as someone to hold the second level shelf in place while it's being secured to the legs.All hardware comes included but you will need a Philips head screwdriver of your own since the turn key wrench only works for some of the enclosed hardware.The screw hole covers (little, wooden, rounded buttons/domes) add a nice subtle, decorative touch in the finished product.I did find a minor nick in the wood on the table top, but it's hardly visible and it's been my experience that a few defects are usually the norm when it comes to self assembled furniture.Overall; I'm very happy with my new nightstand.The price is right, the quality is what I would consider to be above average and it's a very nice looking and functional piece.

Very nice end table.It is heavier than I was expecting, which is a good thing of course.The look is very clean and we love them.Why four stars instead of five?One minor issue for:the slide out drawer.It is have a track guide or sliders.It does have a stop to prevent it from pulling all the way out.However, since there is not a track, when it is pulled out more than halfway, it "drops" down a bit, since the center of gravity is outside the table.It's not too bad really, but that drop bothers me just a tad.Nice end table for sure.
