It's fairly quiet underneath a blanket.It has a firm structure underneath but the head is medium softness. Not squishy but it has give. It does not bend at the curve which is awesome because that's where vibes tend to break- in the neck.I was weary of it being close to $20 and relatively small and a weird shape. But they nailed it. It's so perfect, and I hope they make more like this for years to come.
